Crazy Days!

Well, the last month and a half takes the cake at being jam packed full of hopping all over the country. After returning from Africa, the next day Holly and I made a quick trip to Arizona to consider relocating there, but it was not to be. The day after that, I was off to EFCA national conference and Global Equipping Team meetings in New Orleans. What an interesting city!

TONS of connections with pastors and colleagues from previous times as well as new connections with several who are interested in joining us in training pastors globally. Our team is a joy to be a part of, and I was deeply encouraged as we learned about strategic ways of coaching leaders globally.

Following this, I returned to Seattle and picked up the family and headed down to northern CA, dropped off the girls, and headed into Yosemite National Forest with the boys to do some camping with their best long-time friends from Kingsburg. It was an outstanding trip as we had many adventures and regained some perspective in the midst of a very busy season.

The day after returning I preached in church at Richvale, and then climbed in my very old Honda (which has no AC, a broken speedometer and several other issues), and drove up to Seattle to find a house for our family. We decided this would be the best place for us as it is close to Holly’s family, and she will have good support while I’m travelling to do my training of pastors. Please join us in prayer as I just made an offer on a house in southern Olympia.

Tomorrow I fly to LA to connect with many dear friends and supporters, and to pick up our stuff in storage and drive it up to Richvale. Then at least all our stuff will be in one place (First time in many years)!!

Through all the crazy days, we’ve seen God’s goodness, His faithfulness, His grace and His guidance. As we continue following and serving Him, may His perfect will come shining through us.  Pressing on, Eric
