Since you read regularly about me and my work and life, I thought I’d share some updates from each of the other family members:
Alyssa – God is continually reminding me of his goodness and glory through all aspects of life. I am finishing Running Start (college classes for high school credit) and I’ll graduate next spring. I’m enjoying friendships at youth group and mentoring girls. I am still deciding on college and the future, but I’m looking at Boyce, or taking a year at home to get a job. I got my drivers license finally and have been thanking God for my increased health and motivation to step out in independence and build more relationships. I know he has listened to the prayers from all those who have faithfully prayed for our family, and we are eternally grateful for how God is working. Blessings, Alyssa
Andrew – I am thankful that God has given me some direction for the time being to help people find homes (Andrew just got his real estate license.) I’m excited for this winter and snow sports. I’m looking forward to what God has planned for my life.
Adam – I have just finished my first semester at SBTS and have begun the journey towards getting an MDiv in Great Commission studies. The Lord has connected me with a good church here in Louisville as well as so many amazing friendships and experiences. Looking to the future I plan on going on a couple mission trips to use what I have been learning. The first will be in June to North Africa so prayer would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Holly – This year, due to my improved health, I was able to join Eric on several ministry trips throughout the US. It was a joy to visit a few supporting churches and attend some mission team meetings, getting to meet some of Eric’s teammates for the first time. My verse this year has been from Ephesians 6:18, “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” It has been so encouraging putting this verse into practice, offering prayers for all people toward building God’s kingdom.
