My mama is with Jesus. The last few weeks have been filled with family gathering to spend last moments with mom and just be together in support. We are so thankful for this time we have had and look forward to joining her someday in heaven.

Obituary: Gayle Elaine Frank, of Lacey, Washington, was born April 9, 1943 in Pasadena, California. Her parents were Floyd & Eleanor Jensen. She and her brother, Gary Jenson, grew up in Vista, California. She attended a local college and then entered Knapp School of Nursing in Santa Barbara. 

After graduation she worked as a nurse in several hospitals. Elaine married Melvin Frank on June 17th, 1967 in Vista, California. She served faithfully as a pastor’s wife for 46 years. Her family was her greatest joy and her children, grandchildren and one great grandchild filled her last years with prayer and concern.

Elaine entered into her Savior’s presence on October 17th, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Melvin Frank, their 4 children, Holly (Eric) Belz, Daniel (Rebekah) Frank, Michael Frank, and Laura (Tim) Kelly and eight special grandchildren Josiah Frank, Ella Frank, Vani Frank, Adam (Sofia) Belz, Andrew Belz, Alyssa Belz, Wilbur Kelly and Anna Kelly, and one great-granddaughter, Her brother, Gary (Marlene) Jensen and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine wrote her own sermon with the life she lived as a dedicated believer.
