In the last post, I shared our full schedule of ministry trips I’m engaging in now that my dissertation is complete. Last week, Holly and I headed to Florida to visit dear ministry partners and family. What a joy it was to reconnect with folks that we had not seen in years, taking advantage of cheap air tickets.

While we were there, Holly and I navigated the FREE public bus system and took a day to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather and Clearwater beach.

We were looking forward to getting away, just the two of us, to celebrate completing my doctorate. Family and friends stuck close to Alyssa, so we could have peace about being gone for a few days.

Now, we have returned, and I leave in a few hours for the central valley of California to meet with more ministry partners and preach at Orchard Bible Fellowship in Kingsburg, where I pastored back in the day.
