I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked by dear friends and loved ones, “So what is it exactly that is wrong with Holly and Alyssa?” Which doctors have you been to? Have you tried ______ treatment? What is the diagnosis? When are they expected to improve? Etc. Great questions, and I wish I had better answers. I understand where the questions are coming from, and believe me I’ve asked them repeatedly myself.

So in an effort to answer sincere and well-intended questions, and yet protect Holly’s and Alyssa’s privacy, Holly has put together a document that she is happy to share with anyone who writes her asking to know more. Just send an email to holly.belz@efca.org and she will attach the document in reply.

Our greatest desire is that the information will connect you closer with us, and lead us to pray for one another as we continue walking with Christ. We submit to God’s sovereign control in all things, and while praying fervently for healing, we trust in His timing.
