Greetings from Southern Asia, friends. I have made it safely to the country where I will be training pastors for the next couple weeks (kept ambiguous for security purposes). Thank you for your prayers.
The day before I took off, I preached at our home church on 1 John 2:18-27 – “The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth.” We are going through a series in 1 John, and Pastor Ryan asked me to take this Sunday. It is a pretty heavy passage, and I spent a lot of time working on it to understand John’s message and how to best communicate that to our local congregation in Olympia, WA.
