This past Sunday, I preached in our home church from Ephesians 6:5-9. This section of Scripture is Paul’s instruction for bondservants (doulos) and masters (kurios). While this topic might seem irrelevant in our culture, yet there is an incredibly relevant and applicable message from our passage for all of us today on the subject of authority and submission. The main point from the passage is: Whether under authority or in authority, serve sincerely under God’s ultimate authority.
