This past Sunday, our 22 year old son, Adam, was invited by our church leadership to preach the message from Matthew 20:1-16, the parable of the laborers in the vineyard and the generous master. He is interning at the church over the summer, learning about pastoral ministry, and (in my humble opinion) he did a fantastic job communicating the author’s intent for the original readers and applying that message for us today. Although he has only had one year of training at Southern Seminary, he is well on his way in his handling of God’s Word.
