I&#8217;m excited for this time back in Dar, even though it is the SUPER HOT and humid season (which I enjoy!), but it is also mango season so I&#8217;m anticipating some sweet mangos along the way. I will be reconnecting with several of the pastors I worked with years ago as well as training for two weeks a group of church planters who are being sent out by Tyrannus Bible School to various unreached parts of Tanzania. For this trip I&#8217;m going solo, so all the training responsibilities are on me. The first half the training (week 1) is very familiar, and the second half (week 2) is completely new. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"217\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/belzglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4379\" style=\"width:603px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some of the details of the trip and prayer requests, and I would greatly appreciate your intercession during that time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dar es Salaam, Tanzania \u2013 January 16-30.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Itinerary<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jan 16-17 \u2013 Travel to Dar es Salaam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan 18 \u2013 Preach in church, prep for training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan 19-23 \u2013 Week 1 of training \u2013 Pathways Bible Training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan 24-25 \u2013 Meetings with students, local pastors, preaching in church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan 26-29 \u2013 Week 2 of training \u2013 Using Pathways to study Ephesians.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan 30 \u2013 Return home.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Prayer Points<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Praise God for Tyrannus Bible Schools and these eager young students who will devote themselves to church planting among unreached people groups.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for Pastor Keeper who is coordinator of this network, and for the other local pastors I will spend time with (Greyson, Ikongo, Titus, Paul, James, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray for wisdom as week 2 of this training is brand new \u2013 working through the book of Ephesians to help students grasp church planting principles.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please keep Holly in your prayers while I\u2019m away, specifically for doctor appointments and improved health.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your partnership, friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"299\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/belzglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4378\" style=\"width:590px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, January 16, I head back to our old &#8220;stomping grounds,&#8221; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa, where we lived for three years about a decade and a half ago.
