Dear ministry partners, I am leaving Sunday March 22 on my next Africa expedition, this time to the East African country of Rwanda. This small country has been through a very challenging season of late. For the past couple years the government has forced over 10,000 churches throughout the country, stating that they needed to comply with a series of requirements that were constantly changing. As you can imagine, this created a huge problem for pastors throughout the country, and many of those with whom we work were forced to change their lives drastically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time I am working with a new gathering of ministry leaders who will be planting churches in unreached areas of the region. This is part of the Tyrannus network of Bible schools that I have worked with in the past. They love the hermeneutical training I offer (Pathways) on how to study, understand, and teach God’s Word, so I offer that the first week, and the second week I will walk through the book of 1 Peter with them, coaching them to use Pathways principles to catch Peter’s emphasis passage by passage through the book. Here are some of the key elements for this trip and I would be truly grateful for your prayers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rwanda March 22 \u2013 April 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview: This is a new Tyrannus Bible School network in Kigali, Rwanda. I will be joined by a pastor from southern Oregon named Chris Sherwood. We will give a week of Pathways training followed by a week of a deeper dive into 1 Peter to church planters going to unreached parts of East Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
