I’m not meaning to sound like a broken record, but once again we’ve had no power for much of this week. From recent news reports, it appears that despite recent rains, Tanzania’s power problems are far from over. The power company is saying that they will possibly to doing power cuts every day, either for 12 hours during the day or for six hours at night. During these times, many elements of life we’ve come to rely upon, such as internet for email, water pumped into our house, refrigeration, etc. will be suspended. The power company says there is no end in sight, due to shortage of water, and lack of money to pay private contractors for power.
We appreciate your prayers for positive attitudes during these long days and nights, as we look for ways to encourage each other and point people to our radiant God. Pressing on, Eric
