2009-12-family.JPGThank you for visiting our BelzGlobal Blog/Website. We hope you will be able to navigate through the site to find the information you seek. We are very excited for you to learn about the mission work to which God has called our family since 2007, and we hope you will join us in “bringing God’s glory to the nations.”

“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.”

1 Chronicles 16:23-25

The world needs Christ. Without him, people are lost, but with him, they have purpose, life and peace with God. The task of reaching the world for Christ is daunting, but God has done the heavy lifting in many ways. In addition to giving us His Spirit to accomplish the task, he has put indigenous leaders and pastors in most parts of the world to reach their own people. Once trained, they will be vastly more effective for reaching their people than foreigners will be. Therefore one of the greatest needs in most of the developing world is for indigenous leaders to be trained so they can reach their own people with the Gospel of Christ. For example, we need to equip African leaders and pastors to reach other Africans with help in the most important areas of life. This will impact their quality of physical life as well as spiritual life. Who better to help Africans than Africans?

2016-02-teaching-in-kenyaSo our plan, along with a team from the Evangelical Free Church mission agency “ReachGlobal,” is to equip indigenous pastor-trainers so they can train other pastors in their local communities (2 Tim.2:2). We are focusing on giving master trainers reproducible and sustainable training in studying, obeying and teaching the Word of God (Ezra 7:10). When applied properly, this training will be used in areas of evangelism and discipleship, leadership development, biblical theology and ministry skills, church planting, and community development and every other area of church ministry.

I am the Africa director for Pathway Bible training, overseeing trainings throughout the continent, including Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, DR Congo, Zambia, Ghana, Liberia, Togo and Uganda. Our larger Global Equipping Team is training leaders all over the world. After serving on the ground in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa for nearly three years, we have shifted to having our home base in Olympia, Washington. I travel extensively all over the globe training pastors internationally in how to study, obey and teach God’s Word well (2 Timothy 3:14-4:5).

cropped-hands.jpgTo do all this, we need your help! We need partners who will stand with us, in prayer and monthly financial support, so we can do what God has equipped us to do. All financial gifts are tax deductible and channeled through ReachGlobal.

The need is critical. The strategy is sound and effective. Africans have communicated with us that they are eager for and deeply appreciative of our help. Would you be willing to join our team? To learn more about our mission and join our team, please click the pages to the left.

Thank you for considering your important role, and may God be honored as we “declare his glory among the nations.”2016-04-family-reduced
