Last week, Holly went to see a specialist who reviewed several blood tests she had recently taken. The news was tremendously encouraging. In April, she had taken a battery of blood tests, and many of the adrenal-related chemicals in her body, such as cortisol, were at rock bottom levels. Last week, when those levels were measured again, we saw dramatic improvements. Her cortisol levels have risen significantly, and other chemicals and hormones which work together with adrenal functions in the body, such as estrogen and human growth hormone, have likewise returned to extremely healthy levels. The doctor was amazed at these findings, and we shared with him that we and many others have been fervently interceding to our Creator for healing, all praise to our gracious God.
In addition, Holly has been working tirelessly at a stringent nutritional plan, eating specialized foods every two hours – day and night, combined with several natural supplements. She has been carefully limiting the amount of stumuli she is exposed to, and has been continuing to research other areas of life change to help with overcoming adrenal burnout. Her sleep has been improving, and her strength is slowly but steadily returning.
It is true that the tests also revealed that her cholesterol levels were quite high, which the doctor said is not due to what she is eating but rather is due to internal stress. So we are continuing to work on stress management, but with more energy, we feel that the future is looking much more positive and we can tackle these issues, with the help of God. I am very proud of and thankful for my wife, and consider her health our top priority at this time.
Thank you once again, friends, for your faithful prayers, and continuing to walk with us on this journey. God is teaching us many important things, and we are grateful to learn His lessons. Pressing on, Eric
