Controlling Stories, Characters and Symbols in the Sacred Storybook

This is the next installment in sharing the studying I’ve been doing in preparing for my next doctoral course called “Learning the Sacred Story.” The assignment is to search from Genesis-Revelation for the significant stories, characters (human or divine) and symbols that help to communicate and advance the Grand Metanarrative of Scripture. This was a fun assignment that I worked on for a few days, turning every page of the Bible, collecting these lists. I will attach them here for you to review, if you so choose. Just click on the link. If there are ones I missed (and I’m sure there are), feel free to email me (eric.belz@efca.org) and I will add them. Thanks much for taking the time to review.
