While in Togo, W. Africa last week, I trained pastors with our Pathways Bible Training material who in turn take the training throughout the country.

Pastor Akare shared, “Training others with the workshops helps so much in my own understanding of the material. In addition, it is a great blessing in my ministry. At first my church leaders were afraid about my new methods. Now my wife and others are being trained and are preaching well. The task of preaching is spreading to many others in my church and ministry so that I am enabling others and this helps me as well.”

 

I had the blessing of staying with Pastor Samuel and his family for the week while I was training pastors. What follows are some video clips highlighting his bi-vocational work as he attempts to support his family, and a tour of his home, and a brief interview as he shares about ministry blessings, challenges and prayer requests.
