Tomorrow, Thursday, as many of our family and friends in the US celebrate Thanksgiving, I will be climbing on a plane to head to northern Uganda to train a group of 30 pastors for a week. We will be focusing on Leading Teams and Ministry Vision. I will be launching from the Book of Nehemiah in my times in the mornings, and then Tony Freitas will be training in the CHE strategy of transformational development. Kevin Kompelien, our international director, will be along to guide some regional meetings with several leaders. All in all, it should be an outstanding time, and I CAN’T WAIT!! This is what I believe I was made to do, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to be involved.

However, it will be difficult to leave my family behind in Dar es Salaam as we prepare to move to a different house. The timing is difficult, and although I know God will protect them, we will most certainly all miss each other.

We appreciate your prayers for all these issues, and I’ll be updating you down the road as I’m able.
