In our Pathway’s curriculum one of the diagrams has the word “Prayer” in the center. It indicates that every step of the training is covered in prayer.
As the prayer coordinator for our team I love getting people to pray and according to scripture there are many ways this can look. One verse that is very helpful is Ephesians 6:18 which says, “praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. I love being able to incorporate prayer into all kinds of situations in all kinds of ways.
A highlight for this year (just before RENEW) was getting to help lead a focused prayer day at the Latin America/Caribbean and Global Equipping conference in Puerto Vallarta. There was a team of 3 of us that met for 6 months ahead of time, praying over the list of those who would attend. We strategized and strove to listen to God to see where he was moving. The program was filled with worship, corporate prayer and small group prayer. Our vision was that each person would be loved and prayed for and have the chance to love and pray for someone else. Each table had a blow-up globe with sharpies so that everyone could visually circle where they did ministry. It was a testimony to how God is working around the world through all the different ministries.
Praise God for the opportunity to pray with these amazing missionaries!
